SHANGHAI, CHINA- This past Friday I was lucky enough to stop by the 2011 Martell Artists of the year exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum. The 5 award winning artists showing were oil painter Li Songsong, conceptual sculptor Sui Jianguo, photographer Hai Bo (who captures historical change) and art, fashion and portrait photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. I absoutely loved the works of Inez and Vinoodh. Below are two of my favorites...
